Common questions
A card is missing, or shows no data
Most cards need a permission: Calendar for events, Reminders for orders, Location for weather, Health for sleep and steps, and so on. In NERVous, open Settings and tap Run Systems Check to bring each system online again. If you said no earlier, turn it back on in the iPhone Settings app under NERVous.
The screen turns off
NERVous keeps the screen on while your iPhone is charging. To keep it on without the charger, turn on Keep Awake Off the Charger in Settings › Display.
Timers don’t ring when the app is closed
Allow Alarms when NERVous asks (or run the systems check again). Then timers ring as a system alarm, even with the app closed.
Showing what’s playing from Plex, Jellyfin, Navidrome, last.fm or Spotify
Go to Settings › Sources › Now Playing Sources and connect the service. Each one walks you through signing in.
Changing the news feeds
Settings › Sources › Intercept Feeds: add any RSS or Atom feed, or pick one of the presets.
iPhone Duo
Fold your iPhone Duo like a book and the clock takes one half while your cards fill the other. Settings › Display › Side Rail controls the strip on the side of the screen.
